Dur duuuur de duur dur duuur dur duuuurrrrrr.... 2007.... sigh....

Well, happy new year everyone. Last year I managed to do a few things I hadn't anticipated doing this time last year, like going to Asia and staying on another continent for six months. Hopefully this year will be similarly filled with nice things :)

This time next year, I'll hopefully have a new job as I leave the grad scheme. Will be interesting to see where I end up. Covered in chocolate if this year is anything to go by...

A couple of interesting developments

It's been an exciting start to the new year. New job, which means new things to do. I started last Thursday and have so far learned many things which I didn't know before. I think I'm actually starting to do something that's useful as well, which appears to be a good thing. I will be needing a new suit though, as my only slightly tatty suit might not be able to sustain the rigors of everyday use.

My stuff showed up from the US. Amazingly, it was (a) all complete and (b) completely working! Shame it doesn't fit anywhere in the flat that I'm now living in.

I bought the domain growse.me.uk! Not sure why - it was cheap and I thought that I might as well have a .uk level domain, so I got it.

I will now go and continue the great tidyfest.

Ah. Hmmmm. Erm... Hmm....

Yes, I'm doing some stuff that's broken this. I'll try get it working again...

In other news, my new role is going swimmingly. I've actually got more than a few things to do at once now, which is making life slightly more interesting than it has been previously. I've a bunch of projects on the go as well so hopefully will try and get them finished in a timely manner.

The more it snows..... Tiddly-pom....

Well, It's snowing, in London. This never happens, but this morning was particularly pretty. I've been out and taken a few photos, but nothing amazing. I had to trudge all the way to the station to discover that the wonderful train company had cancelled all the trains going to London. Still, that means I get to work from home, which isn't all that bad. I just have to figure out what lunch is going to look like.
